Soroptimist: We are an international volunteer service organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
Soroptimist International of the Adirondacks: Our local club is part of the North Atlantic Region (NAR) - New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia. The Adirondack club was chartered in 1991 and continues to grow today. All new members are encouraged to join a committee and participate in club activities.
Meetings: Our club meets the first Monday of each month (Sept.-June) for social networking, dinner meeting and program. Current meetings are held at a 5:30 p.m. at Bogey's Pub and Grill, 31 Cronin Road Queensbury, NY 12804, (518) 223-0415. Special Events and alternate meeting dates/locations are posted on Facebook.
Local Club Projects: Our club is involved in several service projects. Proceeds from fundraisers support awards and scholarships –Live Your Dream Award, Ruby Award and the Violet Richardson Award,
